UCO Bank allots 78157479 shares to Government of India

UCO Bank has allotted 7,81,57,479 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each at a premium of Rs. 110.27 per share to the Government of India on March 25, 2011 on preferential basis on receipt of contribution of Rs. 940 crore from Government of India following the SEBI Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements Regulations 2009.

The Total Paid UP Capital after the issue is at Rs. 627,51,74,790 and the Government of India's shareholding after the issue is at 68.13%.

The stock was trading at Rs.104.60, up by Rs.1.10 or 1.06%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.104.90 and low of Rs.103.05.

The total traded quantity was 1.68 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 2.95 lakhs.
