Idea Cellular allots 426625 Equity Shares

The ESOS Compensation Committee of Idea Cellular Ltd has vide its circular resolution dated March 21, 2011 allotted 4,26,625 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each to the Option Grantees, pursuant to the exercise of Stock Options granted under the Company's Employee Stock Option Scheme, 2006 (ESOS-2006).

Post the said allotment, the Equity Share Capital of the Company stands increased to 330,32,71,505 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each aggregating to Rs. 3303,27,15,050/-.

The stock was trading at Rs.61.80, up by Rs.0.25 or 0.41%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.62.45 and low of Rs.61.65.

The total traded quantity was 0.59 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 2.13 lakhs.
