HCL Technologies allots 488560 shares under ESOP Allotment

HCL Technologies Ltd has announced that the Employees Stock Option Allotment Committee of the Company has on January 14, 2011 allotted 4,88,560 Equity Shares of Rs. 2/- each, under the 1999, 2000 and 2004 Stock Option Plans of the Company. Consequent to the said allotment the paid-up share capital of the Company has gone upto 683,554,208 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each aggregating to Rs. 136,91,08,416/-.

The stock closed the day at Rs.488.50, up by Rs.13.10 or 2.76%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.494.35 and low of Rs.476.10.

The total traded quantity was 2.56 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.40 lakhs.
