Vijay Shanthi Builders to consider allotment of 13495070 shares

Vijay Shanthi Builders Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on January 13, 2011, for allotting 134,95,070 Equity shares of Rs.10/- each to the shareholders of M/s. High End Homes Private Limited (unlisted closely held Company) based on the Scheme of Amalgamation of M/s. High End Homes Private Limited with the Company as already approved by the Honourable High Court of Judicature at Madras.

The shares will be allotted to the shareholders of M/s. High End Homes Private Limited (unlisted closely held Company) based on the shareholding on the record date which has been fixed as January 12, 2011 in the ratio of one share for every three shares held in M/s. High End Homes Private Limited on that date.

The stock closed the day at Rs.30.30, down by Rs.0.15 or 0.49%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.31 and low of Rs.30.10.

The total traded quantity was 3473 compared to 2 week average of 2826.
