Satyam Computer subsidiary Nipuna Opens Fourth State-of-the-Art Facility in Hyderabad

Satyam Computer Services Ltd has announced that Nipuna Services Ltd., the Company's BPO subsidiary and the world's first eSCM Capability Level 4 service provider, on March 01, 2007 announced the establishment of its fourth Business Process Outsourcing facility here. The 87,000-square-foot facility-Nipuna's largest delivery center, and its sixth in India-is in the K Reheja MindSpace Information Technology Park.

The facility will provide integrated service delivery across industries and processes, and can accommodate three shifts. Its current capacity is 1,730 seats, but it is designed for scalability.

"This new center aligns very well with Nipuna's strategy to establish a global delivery platform quickly," said Venkatesh Roddam, the Company's chief executive officer. "It will expedite our transition from offshore provider to preferred outsourcing partner for our key customers. The Nipuna philosophy is to invest ahead of demand, and I am pleased to note that this approach Is bearing the fruit of additional business."

In addition to the new facility in the K Raheja MindSpace IT Park, Nipuna has several other facilities in Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Chennai, which cater to 30 global clients.
