Sintex wins Rs 750 cr order from Government of Gujarat

Sintex Industries Ltd has announced about the following:

Plastics - Large housing order won

The Company and the Government of Gujarat, represented by the Gujarat Urban Development Company (GUDC), have entered into an agreement for the construction of 50,000 EWS quarters with Monolithic Construction Technology in Ahmedabad, Baroda, Rajkot and Surat. The proposed Investment is about Rs 750 crore. Monolithic constructions are housing solutions designed by the Company to address mass and low cost housing needs.

Textiles - Spring Summer 2007 Collection set to be launched

The Company will also be launching its Spring - Summer 2008/9 Dobby and Jacquard collection across Europe on March 05, 2007. The launch will be at all the International Trade Fairs in the continent. This collection comprises over 3,000 designs in the Men’s Formals, Casuals, Evening Wear and Ladies Wear range. The collection would be launched in India a Fortnight after its Europe launch. These designs would be marketed to large international brands with which the Company has existing tie-up, such as Marks & Spencer’s, Armani, Burberry’s, Darcy’s and Abercrombie & Fitch.
