Vijay Textiles to allot 50 lakh warrants

Vijay Textiles Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 08, 2010, inter alia, has considered and approved the allotment of 50,00,000 Share Warrants on preferential basis, convertible into Equity Shares of Re. 1/- each at a price of Rs. 4/- per warrant (inclusive of premium of Rs. 3/- per warrant ) to Shri Vijay Kumar Gupta promoter of the Company.

The stock was trading at Rs.4.72. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.4.90 and low of Rs.4.42.

The total traded quantity was 3.44 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 5.96 lakhs.
