With reference to the news item appearing in a leading portal titled, "Datamatics close to acquiring US based BPO; May sell stake to strategic investor", Datamatics Technologies Ltd has clarified about the following:

"The Company denies that it is close to acquiring a US based BPO Company or selling stake to strategic investors.

The Company continuously eva1uates various Companies for acquiring purposes both in India and abroad. Infact, it is one of the objectives for which IPO funds are to be utilized."
