Other Income: Reached ₹1,282.59 lakhs in Q1 FY27, compared to ₹1,367.76 lakhs in Q1 FY26 and ₹1,534.94 lakhs in Q4 FY26.

Total consolidated expenses for the quarter stood at ₹19,324.91 lakhs, up from ₹16,042.57 lakhs in Q1 FY26, but down sequentially from ₹22,717.60 lakhs in Q4 FY26.

Adding the share of profit from its joint venture of ₹127.73 lakhs (net of tax), consolidated Profit Before Tax (PBT) reached ₹7,834.31 lakhs, up 33.39% YoY from ₹5,873.18 lakhs in Q1 FY26.

Tax Outgo & Net Profit

Total Tax Expenses: Stood at ₹2,064.62 lakhs for Q1 FY27 (comprising current tax of ₹2,036.59 lakhs and deferred tax of ₹28.03 lakhs), compared to ₹1,467.40 lakhs in Q1 FY26.

Profit After Tax (PAT): Surged 30.96% YoY to ₹5,769.69 lakhs, up from ₹4,405.78 lakhs in Q1 FY26.

Profit Attributable to Owners of the Company: Stood at ₹5,852.62 lakhs, while non-controlling interest recorded a loss of ₹(82.93) lakhs.

Comprehensive Income & Capital Structure

Other Comprehensive Income (OCI): Totaled ₹1,706.14 lakhs (net of tax) for Q1 FY27, primarily driven by fair value changes on equity investments through OCI amounting to ₹1,927.33 lakhs.

Total Comprehensive Income: Reached ₹7,475.83 lakhs for Q1 FY27 (with ₹7,558.55 lakhs attributable to owners of the company and ₹(82.72) lakhs attributable to non-controlling interest).

Paid-Up Equity Share Capital: Remained unchanged at ₹1,046.16 lakhs (comprising equity shares with a face value of ₹1.00 each).

Other Equity: Recorded at ₹2,00,659.97 lakhs as of the full-year audited balance sheet date of March 31, 2026.

Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and diluted EPS for the quarter expanded to ₹5.52 per share (un-annualized), compared to ₹4.21 in Q1 FY26 and ₹8.46 in Q4 FY26 (full-year FY26 EPS stood at ₹24.78).
