Carborundum Universal allots 12000 Shares under ESOP Scheme

Carborundum Universal Ltd has announced that the Company has alloted 12000 shares of Rs. 2/- each arising out of the exercise of stock options, granted under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2007. The exercise price in respect of these options was Rs. 183.60/- per share.

With this allotment the number of equity shares outstanding is 93,368,232 and the paid-up-capital equity share capital is Rs. 186,736,464/-.

The stock closed the day at Rs.205.85, down by Rs.7.45 or 3.49%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.214.75 and low of Rs.204.

The total traded quantity was 0.18 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.36 lakhs.
