Thermax Updates on Scheme of Amalgamation of subsidiaries

Thermax Ltd has announced that the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Bombay has passed Orders on January 12, 2007, approving the Scheme of amalgamation of Thermax Co-en Ltd (TCGL), Thermax Electronics Ltd (TEL) & Winman Gas Ltd (WGL), with the Company.

Pursuant to the Orders issued on January 31, 2007, TCGL, TEL and WGL the wholly-owned subsidiaries stood amalgamated with the Company in accordance with the Scheme of Amalgamation with effect the Appointed Date i.e. from April 01, 2006.

The Company has filed aforesaid Orders with the Registrar of Companies Pune / Mumbai on February 09, 2007. Accordingly, the amalgamation Orders have come into effect from February 09, 2007.
