HCL Technologies launches dedicated Vendor Offshore Facility for Microsoft

HCL Technologies Ltd on February 09, 2007 has announced the opening of a dedicated vendor offshore center / facility (VOF) for Microsoft. This Microsoft VOF will significantly add to the Company's existing capabilities in offering Migration and Project Services to worldwide customers on new Microsoft technologies, and thus build a credible mass in Hyderabad.

The Company as a go-to-market (GTM) partner is gold certified, and the opening of the VOF will further enhance and accelerate the Company's capabilities in implementing best practices around active Microsoft Dynamics practise, building unique solutions, and implementing new MS technology platforms, showcasing and offering migration and project based services to global customers for deploying new MS platforms like Windows Vista, SMS, MS System Centre, MOM 2007 etc.

Adding on, Rajiv Swarup, Corporate Vice President and Global Delivery Head, Industry Solutions, of the Company, said, "This VOF adds another dimension to our multi faceted existing relationship with Microsoft and is an important initiative towards strengthening global leadership in this arena. It will accelerate the execution and delivery of our integrated services in Application development and quality assurance, product engineering and Infrastructure support for Microsoft. Establishing a Microsoft Community within HCL will promote Microsoft technologies in building various industry solutions."

The salient features of VOF include segregated and structured UTP labeling system, extensive physical and virtual security conforming to Microsoft certified ISMS Guidelines besides ISO standards.
