Opto Circuits subsidiary Eurocor GmbH receives CE Mark approval for "DIOR"

Opto Circuits India Ltd has announced that Eurocor GmbH the Company's wholly owned subsidiary has received the CE Mark Approval for its "DIOR" a Paclitaxel Coated Ballon Catheter, used in treatment of Coronary in-stent restonosis.

The Company is the first Company in the world to have obtained CE for a Paclitaxel Coated Ballon Catheter.

In March 2006 Eurocor GmbH obtained CE certification for their Drug Eluting Stent TAXCOR, and in May 2006, for its Amadeus Supercross coronary dilation catheters used in vascular coronary perfusion and also for their new range of PTCA guide wires branded E-WIRE for interventional use.

With this CE mark for DIOR all the products of Eurocor are now CE Certified, allowing the Company to market all its products Fn the European Union as well as in Fareast, Middle East, Latin America and Asia.
