Areva T&D equity shareholders to approve Scheme of Amalgamation

Areva T&D India Ltd has announced that pursuant to the order made by the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta, a meeting of the Equity Shareholders of the Company will be held on February 28, 2007, for the purpose of considering and if thought fit, approving, with or without modification, the proposed Scheme of Amalgamation of Areva T&D Systems India Ltd, Areva T&D Instrument Transformers India Pvt Ltd and Areva T&D Lightning Arresters Pvt Ltd with the Company.
