Patni Computer Systems allots 28519 equity shares under Company's Stock Option Plan

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that the Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide resolution dated July 09, 2010 has allotted 28,519 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees including 13,144 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York as Depository in connection with the issuance of 6,572 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) pursuant to the exercise of ADR Linked options.

The stock was trading at Rs.527.70, down by Rs.1.75 or 0.33%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.533 and low of Rs.450.50.

The total traded quantity was 19011 compared to 2 week average of 98216.
