Supertex Industries to raise Rs 60 crores

Supertex Industries Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 13, 2010, has considered and approved the issue of GDRs/ADRs/FCCBs/QIP Securities convertible in to Equity Shares / fully or partly convertible debentures / securities / any other domestic / international offering up to Rs. 60 Crores. The above is to be placed for approval by the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting.

The date of Annual General Meeting of the shareholders of the Company has been fixed on August 13, 2010.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1.26, up by Rs.0.04 or 3.28%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1.28 and low of Rs.1.16.

The total traded quantity was 7530881 compared to 2 week average of 6488816.
