Axis Capital Markets India allots 28 lakh warrants

Axis Capital Markets India Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 27, 2010, has allotted 28,00,000 Warrants in terms in terms of Special Resolution passed at the Extra Ordinary General Meeting held on May 13, 2010. The Company has received 25% money of issue price of Rs. 33.30 per warrant in terms of Regulation 77(2) of ICDR Regulations, 2009.

The stock closed the day at Rs.34, up by Rs.0.60 or 1.80%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.35.65 and low of Rs.32.80.

The total traded quantity was 364 compared to 2 week average of 908.
