Axis Bank allots 473779 Equity Shares under ESOP

AXIS Bank Ltd has announced that the Committee of Whole-Time Directors of the Bank has on April 21, 2010 made the allotment of 4,73,779 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each to the employees of the Bank, under ESOP.

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased to 40,56,47,898 equity shares from 40,51,74,119 equity shares.

The stock was trading at Rs.1233.40, up by Rs.7.70 or 0.63%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1239.15 and low of Rs.1223.

The total traded quantity was 353731 compared to 2 week average of 316522.
