Marico allots 9500 shares

Marico Ltd has announced that the Corporate Governance Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company have vide resolution passed through circulation on April 21, 2010 approved allotment of 9,500 equity shares of the Company of the face value of Re. 1 each under the existing Marico Employees Stock Options Scheme 2007.

Consequent to the above allotment, the paid-up share capital of the Company has increased from 60,93,25,700 equity shares of Re. 1/- each aggregating Rs. 60,93,25,700/- to 60,93,35,200 equity shares of Re. 1/- each aggregating Rs. 60,93,53,200/-.

The stock was trading at Rs.113.75, up by Rs.0.70 or 0.62%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.114.25 and low of Rs.113.15.

The total traded quantity was 1826 compared to 2 week average of 174389.
