Patni Computer Systems allots 44398 equity shares under Company's Stock Option Plan

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that the Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide resolution dated April 16, 2010 has allotted 44,398 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees including 3,748 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York as Depository in connection with the issuance of 1,874 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) pursuant to the exercise of ADR Linked options.

The stock was trading at Rs.566.65, down by Rs.8.90 or 1.55%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.579.95 and low of Rs.564.35.

The total traded quantity was 23412 compared to 2 week average of 29765.
