Geojit BNP Paribas allots 48000 shares under ESOP

Geojit BNP Paribas Financial Services Ltd has announced that the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company has allotted 3,07,029 equity shares of the face value of Re. 1 each to employees of the Company and subsidiaries and 48,000 equity shares of Re. 1 each to Directors of the Company upon exercise of stock options under Employees Stock Option Plan 2005.

The stock closed the day at Rs.43.10, up by Rs.3.35 or 8.43%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.46 and low of Rs.40.80.

The total traded quantity was 963115 compared to 2 week average of 229433.
