GVK Power acquires additional equity shares in Subsidiary

GVK Power & Infrastructure Ltd has announced that the Company, after completing all the required formalities with the concerned, has acquired 6,25,75,082 (9.50%) equity shares of Rs. 10/- each in GVK Gautami Power Ltd., a Subsidiary of the Company from Nagarjuna Constructions Company Ltd. As a result of this acquisition, the equity holding of the Company in GVK Gautami Power Ltd. has been increased to 63.60%.

The stock was trading at Rs.44.15, up by Rs.0.15 or 0.34%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.44.40 and low of Rs.43.75.

The total traded quantity was 361009 compared to 2 week average of 1054320.
