Simmonds Marshall to consider issue of 140000 shares on Mar 17, 2010

Simmonds Marshall Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on March 17, 2010, to discuss the issue and allotment of 140000 Equity Shares of the Company to the Promoters of the Company on Preferential basis pursuant to Special Resolution passed by the Shareholders of the Company at the Extra Ordinary General Meeting held on March 10, 2010.

The Board will discuss about making an application to the Stock Exchange Ltd for Listing the above Shares.

The Board will also discuss about making an application to the Stock Exchange for Splitting Equity Shares of the Company from Rs. 10/- each to Rs. 2/- each pursuant to Special Resolution passed by the Shareholders of the Company at the Extra Ordinary General Meeting held on March 10, 2010.

The stock closed the day at Rs.133.75, down by Rs.3.55 or 2.59%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.140 and low of Rs.130.45.

The total traded quantity was 2531 compared to 2 week average of 2511.
