HDFC Bank grants 1853500 Stock Options

HDFC Bank Ltd has announced that the Compensation Committee of the Board at its meeting held on March 02, 2010 granted 18,53,500 stock option to the employees of the Bank @ Rs. 1704.80 each. (Rupees One Thousand Seven Hundred Four and Paise Eighty Only).

The options were granted under the Scheme titled "ESOS XV" in terms of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Employee Stock Option Scheme and Employee Stock Purchase Scheme) Guidelines, 1999.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1750.35, up by Rs.45.70 or 2.68%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1760 and low of Rs.1706.50.

The total traded quantity was 74545 compared to 2 week average of 149410.
