Max India allots 18112 equity shares

Max India Ltd has announced that the Allotment Committee of Directors of the Company approved allotment of 18,112 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each of the Company for cash at par arising from the exercise of Stock Options in the ratio of one equity share for every Option, to the employees on February 26, 2010.

Mr. C. V. Raju: 12,052 and Mr. Mohit Talwar: 6,060 were the allottees.

The stock closed the day at Rs.194.35, up by Rs.0.45 or 0.23%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.204.80 and low of Rs.193.80.

The total traded quantity was 512964 compared to 2 week average of 128655.
