Marico approves allotment of 33000 shares

Marico Ltd has announced that the Corporate Governance Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company have vide resolution passed through circulation on February 16, 2010 approved allotment of 33,000 equity shares of the Company of the face value of Re. 1 each under the existing Marico Employees Stock Options Scheme 2007.

Consequent to the above allotment, the paid-up share capital of the Company has increased from 60,92,81,000 equity shares of Re. 1/- each aggregating Rs. 60,92,81,000/- to 60,93,14,000 equity shares of Re. 1/- each aggregating Rs. 60,93,14,000/-.

The stock was trading at Rs.100.50, up by Rs.0.70 or 0.70%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.101.90 and low of Rs.100.

The total traded quantity was 8515 compared to 2 week average of 27403.
