Asian Oilfield allots 4050000 Equity Shares

Asian Oilfield Services Ltd has announced that Management Committee duly empowered by the Board of Directors of the Company, met on February 03, 2010 and issued and allotted 40,50,000 Equity Shares of Rs. 10 each at a premium of Rs. 51.20 to M/s. Samara Capital Partners Fund I Ltd.

Further the Company has informed that, whereas in view of non receipt of subscription monies, proposals to issue and allot 20,25,000 convertible warrants each to M/s. Vertex Suppliers Pvt. Ltd. & M/s. Gellert Mercantile Pvt. Ltd., have been cancelled.

The stock closed the day at Rs.68.50, up by Rs.1.30 or 1.93%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.71.85 and low of Rs.68.05.

The total traded quantity was 28322 compared to 2 week average of 54355.
