Thomas Cook Updates on Scheme of Amalgamation of LKP Forex Ltd

Thomas Cook India Ltd has announced that pursuant to the Company Petitions filed on behalf of LKP Forex Ltd ("Transferor Company") and the Company ("Transferee Company") to obtain sanction of the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Bombay ("the High Court") to the arrangement embodied in the Scheme of Amalgamation ("Scheme") between the Transferor and Transferee Companies and their respective members for the amalgamation of the Transferor Company with the Transferee Company with effect from April 01, 2006, the Hon'ble High Court was pleased to grant sanction to the said Scheme by its Order dated January 12, 2007 after hearing the aforesaid Company Petitions.
