HCL Technologies allots 578060 shares under ESOP

HCL Technologies Ltd has announced that the Employees Stock Option Allotment Committee of the Company has on January 14, 2010 allotted 5,78,060 Equity Shares of Rs. 2/- each, under the 1999, 2000 and 2004 Stock Option Plans of the Company.

Consequent to the said allotment the paid-up share capital of the Company has gone upto 674,083,992 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each aggregating to Rs. 134,81,67,984/-.

The Stock closed the day at Rs.370, down by Rs.7.95 or 2.10%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.385 and low of Rs.366.

The total traded quantity was 357926 compared to 2 week average of 240142.
