Ambuja Cements allots 405315 shares under ESOS category

Ambuja Cements Ltd has announced that the Share Allotment & Investor Grievance Committee at its meeting held on December 29, 2009 has allotted 4,05,315 Equity Shares on exercise of the stock options by the employees.

Under Stock Option Scheme 2003-2004 58,125 shares were allotted. Under Stock Option Scheme 2004-2005 93,565 shares were allotted. Under Stock Option Scheme 2005-2006 2,05,625 shares were allotted and under Stock Option Scheme 2008 - 48,000 shares were allotted.

The Stock was trading at Rs.100.75, up by Rs.1.30 or 1.31%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.102.20 and low of Rs.99.

The total traded quantity was 412513 compared to 2 week average of 271228.
