Uttam Sugar Mills allots 25000 6.5% Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares

Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd has announced that Preference Share Allotment Committee in its meeting held on December 09, 2009 have issued & allotted 25,000 6.5% Redeemable Cumulative Preference Shares of Rs. 100/- each for cash at par totaling amount of Rs. 25,00,000/- to the entities forming part of Promoter group. Consequently, with effect from December 09, 2009, the Issued and Subscribed Preference Share Capital of the Company stands increased to Rs. 36,60,00,000/- divided into 36,60,000 Redeemable Cumulative Preference Shares of Rs. 100/- each.

The stock was trading at Rs.59.55, up by Rs.0.30 or 0.51%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.62 and low of Rs.58.65.

The total traded quantity was 9360 compared to 2 week average of 8190.
