SBI raises $750 million through Medium Term Note Programme

State Bank of India (SBI) has announced that the Bank has concluded the issue of U5D 750 Million Fixed Rate Senior Notes having a Maturity of 5 years at a coupon of 4.50 percent under the Medium Term Notes (MTN) Programme in the form of Regulation S Global Note. The bonds have been issued through the Bank's London branch as of October 23, 2009 and these shall be listed on Singapore Stock Exchange.

The stock closed the day at Rs.2353.85, up by Rs.28.15 or 1.21%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.2379.70 and low of Rs.2325.

The total traded quantity was 553459 compared to 2 week average of 759730.
