Wipro allots 61125 Equity Shares

Wipro Ltd has announced that Administrative Committee of the Company's Board of Directors vide Circular resolution dated October 16, 2009, resolved to issue and allot 61125 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each pursuant to exercise of the stock options by the eligible employees under Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2004 and Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2005.

The stock closed the day at Rs.573.30, down by Rs.1.70 or 0.30%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.585 and low of Rs.570.30.

The total traded quantity was 130085 compared to 2 week average of 224595.
