Alps Industries to consider preferential issue on Sep 22, 2009

Alps Industries Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on September 22, 2009, inter alia, to consider and approve the Audited financial results for the 15 Months ended on June 30, 2009.

The Board will consider and approve "in principal" the preferential allotment of securities in accordance with the Credit Debt Restructuring (CDR) Scheme of the Company.

The Board will also consider and approve the draft notice of Annual General Meeting.

The stock was trading at Rs.12.18, up by Rs.0.49 or 4.19%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.12.48 and low of Rs.11.45.

The total traded quantity was 179576 compared to 2 week average of 176106.
