Lupin allots 864993 equity shares

Lupin Ltd has announced that the Allotment Committee of Directors at its meeting held on September 08, 2009, has allotted 864,993 fully paid up equity shares of Rs 10/- each.

The Company has issued 8389 shares upon exercising the options granted to employees under the stock option plans of the Company.

856604 Shares issued upon conversion of Zero Coupon Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCB) issued by the Company pursuant to the Offering Memorandum dated January 02, 2006.

In view of the above, the issued and paid up capital of the Company has been increased to Rs 855,502,000 consisting 85,550,200 equity shares of Rs 10/- each.

The stock was trading at Rs.1006.05, down by Rs.3.70 or 0.37%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1025 and low of Rs.1002.

The total traded quantity was 15553 compared to 2 week average of 23052.
