UTV Software to issue Rs 100 crore NCDs to LIC

UTV Software Communications Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on September 04, 2009, inter alia, approve the appointment of Mr. Robert Gilby and Mr. Sanjay Purohit as additional directors on the Board of the Company.

Mr. Robert Gilby is the nominee of The Walt Disney Company (Southeast Asia) Pte. Ltd and Mr. Sanjay Purohit will be the independent director.

The Board aApproved the issue of Non-Convertible Debentures aggregating to Rs 100/- Crores to Life Insurance Corporation of India.

The stock was trading at Rs.478.60, up by Rs.13.20 or 2.84%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.481.90 and low of Rs.465.10.

The total traded quantity was 6344 compared to 2 week average of 53916.
