Texmaco raises Rs 170.56 crore

Texmaco Ltd has announced that the duly authorized Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 27, 2009, inter alia, has decided to close the Bid period and approved the issuance of up to 1.64 crore Equity Shares at a price of Rs 104 per Equity Share (including a premium of Rs 103 per Equity Share) aggregating to Rs 170.56 Crores.

The stock was trading at Rs.113.05, up by Rs.6.65 or 6.25%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.114.70 and low of Rs.106.65.

The total traded quantity was 91506 compared to 2 week average of 165205.
