Celebrity Fashions to consider preferential issue on Jun 26, 2009

Celebrity Fashions Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on June 26, 2009, is considering the proposal of issue of equity shares on preferential basis to one of the Company's Promoter Directors, Mr. V Rajagopal, not exceeding 3,00,000 (Three lakh) Equity shares, subject to the approval of the shareholders in the AGM to be held on July 27, 2009.

The stock closed the day at Rs.15.75, down by Rs.0.70 or 4.26%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.16.85 and low of Rs.15.65.

The total traded quantity was 643 compared to 2 week average of 2767.
