LIC Housing Finance to consider preferential issue at Board Meeting on Jun 01, 2009

LIC Housing Finance Ltd has now announced with reference to the earlier announcement dated May 21, 2009 regarding Board Meeting on June 01, 2009, that the Board of Directors at the Board Meeting to be held on June 01, 2009, may also consider further issue of equity shares on preferential basis and / or Qualified Institutional Placements basis. If the same is approved in the Board meeting, a separate item will be included in the Notice of Annual General Meeting for approval of the Members.

The stock was trading at Rs.431.15, up by Rs.3.25 or 0.76%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.445 and low of Rs.424.
