Venus Remedies to allot 19868 shares

Venus Remedies Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 30, 2009, inter alia, has approved allotment of 19,868 equity shares of Rs 10/- each cash at par under Employees Stock Options Scheme pursuant to exercise of options.

The stock closed the day at Rs.183.60, down by Rs.5.05 or 2.68%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.203.95 and low of Rs.181.

The total traded quantity was 7733 compared to 2 week average of 5604.
