Akruti City denies stake sale to Barclays

Akruti City Ltd has clarified about Barclays Capital having acquired a stake in Akruti City Ltd (ACL) from the promoters for approx. Rs 350-400 crores.

The Company hereby clarifies that the promoters of ACL have not sold any stake to Barclays Capital. However, the Company does have working relationship with Barclays Bank PLC.

The stock was trading at Rs.924, down by Rs.78.50 or 7.83%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1035 and low of Rs.911.15.

The total traded quantity was 1883269 compared to 2 week average of 338883.
