Transcorp International Delivers Robust Q1 FY2026-27 Performance

Transcorp International Limited (BSE: 532410), a leading financial services company engaged in foreign exchange, payment solutions, remittances and financial inclusion services, today announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, reporting strong growth in revenue and profitability while achieving significant strategic milestones that reinforce its position in India's digital payments ecosystem.

The Company delivered a strong start to FY2026-27 with revenue from operations increasing by 24.3% year-on-year and 45.7% quarter-on-quarter, supported by continued growth across its foreign exchange, payment solutions and remittance businesses. Improved operating efficiency, lower finance costs and disciplined cost management contributed to a 175% increase in Profit Before Tax during the quarter.

Financial Highlights - Q1 FY2026-27

- Revenue from Operations increased to ₹283.65 crore, compared to ₹228.17 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, registering a 24.3% year-on-year growth.

- On a sequential basis, Revenue from Operations grew 45.7%, increasing from ₹194.66 crore in Q4 FY2025-26.

- Profit Before Tax (PBT) stood at ₹2.39 crore, compared to ₹0.87 crore in Q1 FY2025-26, representing a robust 175% year-on-year growth.

- Profit After Tax (PAT) increased to ₹1.73 crore, up from ₹0.65 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, registering a growth of 166%.

- Basic Earnings Per Share (EPS) increased to ₹0.54, as against ₹0.20 in Q1 FY2025-26, reflecting a growth of approximately 166%.

- Finance Costs reduced by nearly 39%, declining from ₹58.44 lakh to ₹35.67 lakh, reflecting efficient treasury management and an optimized funding profile.

- Operating expenses remained well controlled despite significant business expansion, resulting in improved operating leverage and stronger profitability.

During the quarter, the Reserve Bank of India granted Transcorp International Limited membership of the INFINET and the Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) System.

The Company has been onboarded as an INFINET Member and Type 'D' RTGS Member, enabling direct participation in the Reserve Bank of India's Centralised Payment Systems (CPS) which will allow the Company to initiate and settle RTGS and NEFT transactions.

During the quarter, the Company was empanelled as a Business Correspondent (BC) of Indian Overseas Bank for providing Customer Service Point (CSP) services. This partnership will further strengthen the Company's financial inclusion initiatives by extending banking services to customers through its expanding BC network; which currently includes over 1250 locations across India.

Our focused strategy of expanding our core foreign exchange, remittance and payment businesses, coupled with disciplined cost management, has resulted in significant improvement in operating performance.

The grant of INFINET and RTGS membership by the Reserve Bank of India marks a defining milestone in our journey towards becoming a stronger technology-enabled financial services institution. Direct participation in the RBI's Centralised Payment Systems will further enhance our payment capabilities and operational efficiencies.

In addition, our empanelment as a Business Correspondent of Indian Overseas Bank further reinforces our commitment to financial inclusion by expanding access to formal banking services across underserved regions.
