Commercial vehicle leader Tata Motors Limited (BSE: 544569 | NSE: TMCV) has reported a robust sales performance for the month of July 2026. Total dispatches across domestic and international markets reached 39,641 units, marking a 37% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to 28,956 units sold in July 2025.

The strong operational momentum was driven by broad-based growth across all major domestic commercial vehicle categories alongside a sharp surge in international shipments.

Domestic Performance Breakdown

Tata Motors recorded total domestic commercial vehicle sales of 33,876 units in July 2026, delivering a 28% YoY growth over the 26,432 units dispatches registered in July 2025.

Category Highlights:

Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) Trucks: Dispatches expanded 33% YoY to 8,973 units, up from 6,735 units in July 2025.

Intermediate, Light & Medium Commercial Vehicle (ILMCV) Trucks: Monthly sales reached 6,100 units, achieving a 20% YoY growth compared to 5,068 units in the prior-year period.

Small Commercial Vehicle (SCV) Cargo & Pickups: Remained the largest volume contributor, climbing 30% YoY to 12,865 units (vs. 9,880 units in July 2025).

Passenger Carriers: Dispatches increased 25% YoY to 5,938 units against 4,749 units sold in July 2025.

MH&ICV Segment & International Dispatches

Medium & Heavy Intermediate Commercial Vehicles (MH&ICV)

Domestic MH&ICV Sales: Stood at 15,435 units in July 2026, growing 25% YoY from 12,378 units in July 2025.

Global MH&ICV Sales: Combined domestic and international dispatches for MH&ICV reached 16,364 units, reflecting a 20% YoY rise compared to 13,669 units in the corresponding month last year.

International Business

Exports Surge: Tata Motors' international business recorded significant acceleration, with exports jumping 128% YoY to 5,765 units in July 2026, compared to 2,524 units shipped in July 2025.
