Fluid management solutions provider Kirloskar Brothers Limited has reported its unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. The Pune-based industrial giant recorded stable year-over-year operational growth across its standalone and consolidated divisions, driven by continued demand for pump systems and engineering services.

Consolidated Financial Performance Overview

For the first quarter of FY27 (ended June 30, 2026), Kirloskar Brothers recorded consolidated revenue from operations of Rs. 11,049 million, reflecting a 12.86% year-over-year increase compared to Rs. 9,790 million achieved in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year (Q1 FY26). Sequential operational revenue showed an expected seasonal reset from Rs. 14,151 million reported in Q4 FY26.

Other income for the consolidated entity stood at Rs. 148 million, taking the total consolidated income to Rs. 11,197 million for Q1 FY27, up 12.54% from Rs. 9,949 million in Q1 FY26.

Total consolidated expenses for the quarter amounted to Rs. 10,246 million, compared to Rs. 8,963 million in Q1 FY26.

Cost of Materials Consumed: Rs. 5,438 million (vs. Rs. 4,718 million in Q1 FY26)

Purchase of Stock-in-Trade: Rs. 389 million (vs. Rs. 196 million in Q1 FY26)

Changes in Inventories: Rs. (447) million compared to Rs. (251) million in Q1 FY26

Employee Benefits Expense: Rs. 2,123 million (vs. Rs. 1,844 million in Q1 FY26)

Finance Costs: Rs. 81 million (vs. Rs. 62 million in Q1 FY26)

Depreciation and Amortization Expense: Rs. 274 million (vs. Rs. 228 million in Q1 FY26)

Other Expenses: Rs. 2,388 million (vs. Rs. 2,166 million in Q1 FY26)

Consolidated Earnings & Profitability

Profit Before Tax (PBT): Came in at Rs. 951 million, relative to Rs. 983 million in Q1 FY26 and Rs. 1,465 million in Q4 FY26.

Tax Provision: Stood at Rs. 284 million, including current tax of Rs. 299 million and a deferred tax credit of Rs. 15 million.

Period Profit After Tax (before Joint Venture share): Reached Rs. 667 million, compared to Rs. 705 million in Q1 FY26.

Share of Profit in Joint Venture Company: Added Rs. 9 million to earnings (compared to a loss of Rs. 30 million in Q1 FY26).

Net Profit from Continuing Operations: Totaled Rs. 676 million. Of this total, Rs. 666 million was attributable to equity holders of the parent company, while non-controlling interests accounted for Rs. 10 million.

Total Comprehensive Income: Reached Rs. 720 million after incorporating Rs. 44 million in other comprehensive income (comprising foreign currency translation adjustments and cash flow hedge effects).

Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and diluted consolidated EPS from continuing operations stood at Rs. 8.39 per equity share (face value of Rs. 2/- each).

Standalone Performance Highlights

On a standalone basis, Kirloskar Brothers Limited posted revenue from operations of Rs. 6,738 million for Q1 FY27, representing an 8.57% year-over-year increase compared to Rs. 6,206 million recorded in Q1 FY26. Standalone total income stood at Rs. 6,898 million, supported by other income of Rs. 160 million.

Total Tax Expense: Came in at Rs. 187 million (current tax of Rs. 206 million less deferred tax credit of Rs. 19 million).

Net Profit After Tax: Advanced 14.89% year-over-year to Rs. 540 million, up from Rs. 470 million in Q1 FY26.

Total Comprehensive Income: Stood at Rs. 543 million.

Standalone EPS: Basic and diluted EPS rose to Rs. 6.80 per equity share from Rs. 5.93 in Q1 FY26.

Capital Structure and Reserves

As of June 30, 2026, the paid-up equity share capital of Kirloskar Brothers Limited remained unchanged at Rs. 159 million, comprising shares of face value Rs. 2/- each.

According to the audited balance sheet of the previous accounting year (FY26), standalone reserves (excluding revaluation reserves) stood at Rs. 18,326 million, while consolidated reserves (excluding revaluation reserves) totaled Rs. 24,481 million.
