Other income for the quarter reached Rs. 4,160.86 lakh, up from Rs. 3,569.02 lakh in Q1 FY26 and recovering from a negative Rs. 1,005.89 lakh in Q4 FY26. Consequently, total income for Q1 FY27 stood at Rs. 58,539.35 lakh, reflecting a 27.46% expansion over Rs. 45,926.69 lakh in the same period last year.
Operating Expenditure and Expense Breakdown
Total expenses incurred by the company during the quarter amounted to Rs. 46,749.79 lakh, compared to Rs. 35,462.17 lakh in Q1 FY26 and Rs. 54,008.88 lakh in Q4 FY26.

Profitability and Comprehensive Earnings
Driven by strong gross revenues and top-line momentum, Voltamp Transformers reported a 12.66% increase in Profit Before Tax (PBT), reaching Rs. 11,789.56 lakh for Q1 FY27, compared to Rs. 10,464.52 lakh in Q1 FY26 and nearly doubling sequentially from Rs. 6,707.82 lakh in Q4 FY26.
Total tax provisions for the quarter totaled Rs. 2,667.28 lakh, comprising current tax of Rs. 2,267.00 lakh, deferred tax of Rs. 400.28 lakh, and prior year income tax of Rs. 0.71 lakh.
