Powerica Secures 50MW Wind Project bid from GUVNL's Wind Power Tender

Powerica Limited (NSE: POWERICA | BSE: 544744), has emerged as a winning bidder in the e-Reverse auction conducted by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for purchase of power through competitive bidding process from 250 MW grid-connected Wind Power Projects.

The company has successfully secured the bid for 50MW project. The electronic reverse auction was finalized on July 09, 2026. The company's discovered tariff was ₹3.51 per unit, representing a 2.77% variance relative to the tender start-price. The Letter of Award (LOA) is expected to be awarded within the stipulated timelines prescribed in the tender document.

Project Execution and Grid Integration

Under the mandates laid out in the tender framework, Powerica Limited will enter into a direct Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the GUVNL. The power procured from this 50MW allocation will directly support GUVNL in fulfilling its Renewable Purchase Obligations (RPO).

Subsequent to Letter of Award, Powerica Limited will utilize its comprehensive in-house engineering capability to execute this project, ensuring delivery within the contractually prescribed tender timelines.
