Automotive component manufacturer NDR Auto Components Limited has announced the commercial launch of a new manufacturing facility in Sri Sathya Sai district, Andhra Pradesh. The production plant was officially inaugurated on Friday, July 10, 2026, by the company's wholly-owned subsidiary, NDR Auto Components South Private Limited.

Plant Location and Strategic Rationale

The newly built plant is located at Penukonda, Hindupur (Somandepalli, Gudipalle), Sri Sathya Sai District, Andhra Pradesh (Pin: 515122).

The facility has been strategically positioned to establish a localized supply chain hub in the region. Its primary operational mandate is to manufacture automotive seating frames, seat covers (trims), and secondary components composed of plastic, metal, and polyurethane. The factory will directly feed supply lines to Hyundai Transys, acting as an essential tier-2 supplier catering to Kia Motors India's primary assembly plant located nearby in Anantapur.

Project Scope, Capacity, and Financing

The expansion involves a complete greenfield/brownfield buildout with the following technical and financial profiles:

Proposed Installed Capacity:

Seating Frames: 50,000 sets per annum (optimized for 5-seater passenger vehicles).

Seat Covers (Trims): 28,000 sets per annum (optimized for 7-seater passenger vehicles).

Execution Timeline: The plant is structured to scale up and achieve its peak proposed installed production capacity progressively over the course of one year (by July 2027).

Capital Expenditure (CapEx): The project required an aggregate capital investment of approximately ₹27.29 crores.

Funding Architecture: The investment has been structured and financed through a balanced mix of debt (commercial loans) and equity equity injections from the parent entity.
