Star Cement Ltd declared preferred bidder for Boro Lakhindong mines

Star Cement Limited has been declared as the 'Preferred Bidder' for Mining Lease for Boro Lakhindong (West Block), District Dima Hasao (Formerly North Cachar Hills) in e-auctions conducted by the Government of Assam. The aforesaid block is situated in Village: Boro Lakhindong, Tehsil: Umrangso; District: Dima Hasao (Formerly North Cachar Hills), Assam over an area of 123 hectares with estimated limestone resource of 207.822 million tonnes.

Shares of Star Cement Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 211.25 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 212.30. The total number of shares traded during the day was 13775 in over 461 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 213.25 and intraday low of 209.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 2912617.00.
