Varroc Engineering Wins ET AutoTech Award 2026

Varroc Engineering Limited, a leading global Tier-1 automotive supplier, has been recognised as the winner of the In-Cabin Infotainment & Connected Technology Award at the inaugural ET AutoTech Awards 2026 - a platform that celebrates breakthrough innovation reshaping the automotive technology landscape.

The recognition honours VarrocLink, an indigenous, sovereign connectivity ecosystem engineered to redefine in-vehicle infotainment interactions through deep OEM-centric customisation, seamless integration, and a differentiated user experience.

Unlike conventional mirroring solutions that impose high licensing costs and standardised UI constraints across vehicle segments, VarrocLink is built on an Asynchronous Architecture that offloads critical tasks including high-precision navigation to the infotainment system's onboard GPS. This directly addresses real-world challenges faced by drivers on long-haul routes and in low-connectivity environments, where mobile battery drain and GPS reliability constitute genuine safety concerns. The platform replaces standardised global interfaces with the ability to develop bespoke OEM-branded UI/UX, enabling manufacturers to customise their digital interface and app selection without dependence on third-party licensing frameworks.

VarrocLink is currently being integrated into next-generation models of a major Indian OEM across its 4x4 lifestyle SUV and premium MPV portfolio, bringing connected-car capabilities to segments that is traditionally underserved. The platform is designed to be segment-agnostic and scalable across vehicle categories, from four-wheelers- ICE and EVs, passenger and commercial vehicles, and even multi-axle commercial vehicles.

Presently, Varroc Link makes available on your infotainment display all the standard features like music control, call and SMS alerts, event calendar synchronization and more. It even allows a full 360-degree view of your car on your mobile phone using the onboard surround view system. Looking ahead, VarrocLink is evolving beyond connectivity into a full Vehicle Command platform, with Remote Vehicle Management capabilities including remote diagnostics, vehicle health monitoring, remote air-conditioning control, remote horn and light activation, find-my-car feature, and more such operational controls scheduled for integration in the coming months.

Mr. Dhruv Jain, Whole-time Director and CEO, Varroc Business II, said: "At Varroc, our endeavour is to deliver brilliance at scale, to build solutions that are rooted in the realities of local markets while meeting global benchmarks of performance and quality. Varroc Link reflects that approach. It addresses genuine challenges faced by Indian OEMs and drivers alike, and we are proud to see it recognised as a meaningful step forward towards safe, smart and sustainable mobility."

Mr. Deepanshu Taumar, Head of Product -ETAuto & Manufacturing, said: "We are delighted to recognize Varroc Engineering as a winner at the inaugural ET AutoTech Awards 2026.
