Century Enka Ltd enters into PPA for wind-solar hybrid power plant

Century Enka Limited ("the Company") has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement ("PPA") with ABREL Century Energy Limited ("ABRELCEL"), a Special Purpose Vehicle ("SPV"), for setting up a 9.9 MW wind-solar hybrid power plant for procurement of power under the captive consumption mechanism. In accordance with the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 read with the Electricity Rules, 2005, the Company is required to hold a minimum of twenty-six percent (26%) of the equity share capital of the power producer to qualify as a captive user of the power generated by such power producer.

Shares of Century Enka Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 527.30 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 505.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 6753 in over 566 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 537.60 and intraday low of 504.45. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 3542675.00.
